This commission was through my day job at Nightingale Associates, it was such a challenging and rewarding project, I thought it was well worth recording here.
The Birmingham Mental Health Trust required exhibition artwork to be displayed at the opening ceremony for three new buildings.
After initial meetings with the Client, these took the form of:
- a 1.5m square permanent display, showing professional photography of the three schemes.
This was printed onto acetate and applied to a thick plastic backing and mounted to the wall
- a set of six 2.2m tall banner stands, telling the story of the development of the schemes in the form of a timeline
- another pair of banner stands linking together to form the elephant graphic - the post-it notes contain quotes from various people connected with the project
- and a street-based greeting banner stand for guests at the ceremony
Despite a very tight timescale, the project was completed on time and to a high standard that delighted the client.
